Terms of Use

These terms were originally written in Swedish. In case of any conflict between the English and Swedish versions, the Swedish version governs.
1. About Sthlmactive
Sthlmactive Sverige AB, registration number 559515-8030, with address Drevergatan 1B, Stockholm, is a Swedish platform that brings together companies, partners, consultants, freelancers and individuals for the purpose of enabling growth tools, collaborations, knowledge exchange and business relationships. Contact in legal and membership related matters takes place via kontakt@sthlmactive.se. By applying for, accepting or using a membership in Sthlmactive, the member approves these terms of use in their entirety.
2. Membership and approval
Membership in Sthlmactive may be taken out by the following categories: Company member, Partner, Consultants, Freelancers, Individual members and Agencies. All memberships are approved manually by Sthlmactive. Sthlmactive reserves the right to freely refuse membership without stating reasons. The membership is not limited in time and runs until further notice until it is terminated by the member or ended by Sthlmactive. Sthlmactive has the right to end a membership at any time without justification.
3. The role of the platform
Sthlmactive is a platform and an enabler for tools, contacts, networks and collaborations. Sthlmactive is not a party to agreements entered into between members or between members and third parties. All collaborations, business and agreements that take place between members, partners and other companies take place entirely outside Sthlmactive's responsibility. Sthlmactive is not responsible for content, performance, quality, payments or results of collaborations that arise between members.
4. What the membership may include
The membership means that the member may be contacted by other members, affiliate partners and collaboration partners within Sthlmactive. Such contact constitutes an integral part of the platform's function and cannot be opted out of without the membership being ended. The membership may give access to, for example, networks and contacts, events and gatherings, project brokerage, discounts and benefits, visibility within the platform and access to potential collaboration partners. Sthlmactive does not guarantee that the member receives business, assignments or revenue, that growth are available.
5. Fees and payment
Sthlmactive offers both free and paid memberships. For paid memberships the following applies: Fees are not refunded after a membership has begun. Trial periods may be offered free of charge. There is no statutory right of withdrawal in business to business relations. Non payment results in the membership being suspended. Sthlmactive is not obliged to refund fees upon termination or suspension.
6. Code of conduct
All members shall conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. The following is not permitted: spam, unwanted direct selling, misuse of contacts, impermissible marketing or behaviour that harms other members or Sthlmactive's reputation. In the event of a breach, Sthlmactive may issue a warning, a temporary suspension or permanent exclusion. Decisions are made unilaterally by Sthlmactive.
7. Content and intellectual property rights
When a member publishes content, information or collaboration posts within Sthlmactive, the member gives Sthlmactive the right to use this content in order to fulfil the purpose of the platform. This may include company names, logotypes, contact details and descriptions of offers. If the member wishes content to be removed, this can be requested via medlem@sthlmactive.se. Members may not use Sthlmactive's name, trademark or logotype without written approval. Impermissible use may give rise to claims for compensation and other legal measures.
8. Personal data and GDPR
By becoming a member, the member approves being contacted by Sthlmactive, other members and collaboration partners for the purpose of enabling networks, business and collaborations. Sthlmactive collects and processes personal data such as name, email address, telephone number, company details, logotypes and website information. The data is used to run and improve the platform and to enable contacts. Personal data may be shared with other members, partners, suppliers and potential collaboration partners. Sthlmactive uses third party services such as CRM systems, email tools and analytics tools.
9. Limitation of liability
Sthlmactive is not responsible for indirect damages, lost profit, lost business opportunities or economic consequences of collaborations between members. All use of the platform takes place at the user's own risk.
10. Force majeure
Sthlmactive is not responsible for delays or unfulfilled undertakings that are due to circumstances outside reasonable control, such as technical disruptions, decisions by authorities, natural disasters or labour disputes.
11. Applicable law and disputes
These terms of use are governed by Swedish law. A dispute shall in the first instance be resolved through dialogue. If a dispute cannot be resolved it shall be decided by a Swedish court of general jurisdiction.
12. Changes to the terms
Sthlmactive has the right to change these terms of use at any time. Updated terms apply from publication on the platform. For questions, contact us at kontakt@sthlmactive.se
13. Age limit
Membership in Sthlmactive is reserved for persons who have reached the age of 18. By applying for or accepting a membership you certify that you are at least 18 years old. Sthlmactive reserves the right to end a membership if it turns out that the member is under 18 years of age.
